The Contact (The Clash)

Synopsis

The documentary THE CONTACT is a film about a journey, in time and space, through the vast and unknown territory called Cabeça do Cachorro, the triple border of Brazil, Colombia, and Venezuela. Following the great crossings made by our characters, who move from their villages to the indigenous city of São Gabriel da Cachoeira, we capture the life of a universe of multiethnic exchanges, great linguistic diversity, mysticism, dreams, sharing, the search for new knowledge, and survival paths. The Amazon has many stories, and the one we are telling is about the life of the native inhabitants of the Upper Rio Negro region, an area of extreme beauty, currently also threatened by narco-gold mining.
