RER 2nd Edition – RIO THAT IS BLUE

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the second edition of the RER took place in a virtual format, with all activities carried out through the ZOOM platform. Due to the difficulties in accessing the internet faced by students from the municipal public network, the edition had as its target audience only teachers, trained to apply the methodology worked on in the classroom.

In the module O RIO THAT IS BLUE, participants mapped their locations, recovering the stories of the waters in Rio de Janeiro, which are inscribed in the name of the city and in the origin of its gentility: carioca. The challenges of urban supply and the preservation of our slopes, so old and so current, were also addressed. The activities were divided into events, such as the launch of the e-book ‘O Rio que é Azul’ and the screening of the film Caminho do Mar, as well as video and photography workshops.
